Our mission

This is a terrifying time for those who love our world. This tiny blue planet, which has sustained life for more than four billion years, has in the past five decades experienced an unparalleled ravaging of its natural resources. Whether it is even possible at this point to fully decelerate this looting is unclear, but what is absolutely certain is that, unless we try, many plant and animal species -- and ultimately, life itself -- will not be sustainable under this pattern of planetary despoilment.
